BT Broadband
is provided by British Telecoms and, despite not being
the cheapest, they are generally well regarded and offer
excellent customer service. BT offer 3 main packages
which include reduced monthly fees for the first 6
months based on an 18 month contract or 3 months reduced
fees with a 12 month contract.
BT Broadband
offer up to 8mb download speeds on all their packages
(dependent on your distance from your BT exchange) in addition to
offering secure online storage for your files. BT also
provide a full range of
business broadband
packages.

"Moved area and decided to go with this Spring's (2011) BT offer which stated "pay nothing for the first 3 months" Ha! Although I had opened a direct debit account with them (and they had deducted the delivery fee for the hub) they stopped and cut off my service for non payment within the first month!!! Very strange when you consider the syndrome of direct debit and the first 3 months free."

"Had some initial problems regarding setting up phone and broadband on the same bill but I have found the customer service to be far superior to previous suppliers, namely Virgin Media, BSkyB and Talk Talk. I have had BT now for 2 years at current address and there are super deals available and they will make these available to existing customers if you call them. they are more expensive but this isn't because the amount of users is limited sothat even at peak times you have a better connection speed. All things considered I beleive BT offer a very good reliable service."

"Very poor service from day one. Very expensive compared to others offering similar package (2X cost). Monthly DD arrangement setup not used, keep getting quarterly even after phone calls to them, Bband bill
separate to phone bill. Home hub 2 (modem/wireless 802.11n draft) quite good. As the main exchange on Bt wholesale very
disappointed with the cost of service, as other providers get from Bt and sell to me cheaper, will be changing to somebody else at end of 12 month contract. Tiscali was my previous provider before moving across the street, in my village, service was cheaper and better overall, shame as Bt provide the infrastructure."
